1."Diseases and Syndromes" ....................15 ceu
          This course defines scores of common diseases in medical terms 
and then differentiates them into their TCM syndromes.
Recommendations are made for treatments using both dietary 
drugs (individual foods) and medicated diet recipes.

         Medicated diet recipes and strategies to 
treat such conditions as: chronic nephritis,
benign prostatic hyperplasia, urolith, CVA,
insomnia, sterility, infantile eneuresis, diabetes,
senile cataract.
      
"Medicated Diet for Five Elements" ........4 ceu
             Medicated diet to balance the five elements. Treatments for the five viscera: heart-lung-spleen-liver-kidneys medicated diet to tonify the
five viscerae. All recipes are explained in detail.

          Comprehensive medicated diet therapy for cardiovascular and reproductive diseases. The treatments describe the different
syndromes of hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, dysmenorrhea, morning
sickness, prostatic hyperplasia, and erectile dysfunction—then the treatment is explained. Menus are given for morning beverage,

            This course has three parts. Part One provides details on the use of individual meats and poultry in the construction of medicated diet recipes. Foods are classified as herbs, according to nature, flavor and meridian tropism. Part Two gives the menu for the spring season from the famous medicated diet restaurant in Qilu. This illustrates how to treat the wood element in its appropriate season.Part Three provides comprehensive medicated diet treatment for hypertension using seven daily meals with detailed analysis of each: morning beverage/breakfast/coffee break/lunch/afternoon break/dinner & dessert
"Medicated Diet for Yin-Yang ,Qi and Blood".............................4 ceu  
                  These recipes are constructed in the same fashion as herbal formulas. Each recipe consists of four parts…a chief ingredient, deputy, assistant and envoy. These correspond to the principal; adjuvans ; corrigens; and vehicle of modern pharmaceutical prescriptions.
